Anyone who followed my original #100happydays on Instagram will have read about why I have a fascination with frost. It is childhood memories and magic and beauty all rolled together into one very cold but exciting package. Unfortunately (from one point of view at least) I don’t get to see much in the way of exciting frost in Ireland. It just doesn’t get cold enough to create those fabulous landscapes on windows the way I remember in Russia. So I do the best I can with what I’ve got.
This morning I was heading to work exceptionally early around 7:30am. It was still dark and everything around me was sparkling from reflections of the various streetlamps. All the cars looked like they were covered in a fine layer of diamond dust. And then I came across this one which must have been running at some point fairly late last night and I decided that the hood of this car looks like Iron Man’s abs.
